Clean water

People over look that some populations around the world don’t have clean water and one of the is India. Almost half of the country’s don’t have access to clean drinkable water  because their water is polluted with trash and other harmful stuff from sewer systems. The reason for all these items getting into the water is India has the second most population in the world and the Indian government doesn’t have many relegation on this. The first time I learned about this crisis was in my chemistry class in high school because we had to make a filter that could clean polluted water. The website the water project is a foundation that trying to solve this problem and says, “India is expected to worsen as the overall population is expected to increase to 1.6 billion by year 2050”. This shows that many people are going to die because they don’t have the basic thing to survive and will be a bigger problem along the road.

    Ahram,
    It is very tragic how polluted water is all over the world. We are very fortunate to have the water systems we do. Hopefully something will be done in India for their water to become clean. What systems could India afford to create to clean their water supply. It brings the question to how safe is the bottled water. Although I am not very knowledgeable about the water system here, i think it would be an interesting topic. The controversy of which bottled water is best/safe. Just an idea! Great read!

    polluted water has been a big issue around the world and I wish it was paid more attention. People in the U.S. don't realize how lucky we are to have clean water and we need to be more grateful that we do. It is very sad to see and learn about India having polluted water issues because they also live in worse conditions then us. I hope organizations find a way to help those individuals. Great post !

    First of all it is sad that it affect the environment, but it's even sadder that some country and region is more affected than others by these issues. I found your post very interesting because sometimes we overlook the victims.

    As mentioned in other comments, polluted water has been a huge issue around the world. In my opinion it should be paid more attention to because it has a negative effect on a huge part of the population. As an example you mentioned in your blog that Indias water is polluted with trash and other harmful stuff from sewer system because Indians government doesn’t have many relegation. I enjoyed how you had a connection with the essay and tied it into your blog about your high school project.

 Hannah Bailey  There have been posts about sea levels rising however its not just affecting the sea. The water rising is also affecting the land. There is always the conspiracy that Florida will be fully submerged. It is stated on “the travel” page that Florida could be submerged as soon as 2050.   Wildlife conservation is the way of practicing the protection of the animal species and the  habitats they survive in. The Endangered Species Act,  is the establishment and protection of public lands animals live in, and the responsibility of public practices that conserve wild animal populations.  With The earth continuing to grow at a fast rate, it is also meaning that more and more humans are taking up natural resources. This is endangering the existence of animals and their habitats. Land Reclamation

 Hannah Bailey Land Reclamation  Land is becoming more scarce as humans produce more technology and as the world wide population continues to increase. Land reclamation is "the process of creating new land from the sea." One way of doing this is by placing certain amount of big rocks and cement into a certain location in the water. To fill in between the rocks they place soil and sand until the new manmade land is at its desired height. This benefits the human race by creating land however, how does this impact our waters? How about the sea creatures? Is this damaging the environment? This does impact all of those things. In areas that use have high amount of crab and fish are seeing less and less. The underwater habitats are being destroyed. There was a reclamation project in China that was restricted for the harm against marine life.
