Energy Bills Out at an ALL TIME HIGH in Texas!

People in taxes are expected to pay much more than they ever have due to recent weather conditions with pictures going around all over news outlets and going viral online. Lawmakers and even the governor of the state have promised help but haven't come out with an official plan yet. The State has a Derugalted energy market meaning that some Texans are forced to work with private companies this an example of when the American capitalism system fails its citizen, causing them to pay these ungodly bills over things they cannot control. The weather was so bad that it had frozen wind turbines and natural gas production choking off the supply lines and leaving the demand so high many Texans were left without heat and left freezing during the winter storm.

  1. This blog hits home because I’m from Texas. This weather hit my family and friends hard because of energy shortages and making people panic because Texas was unprepared. In my opinion, lawmakers shouldn’t tax citizens more because of the failures of some windmills and instead do a carbon tax on greenhouse gas companies to fix the windmills because they’re the reason of this extreme weather. I’ve lived in Texas for my entire life and when it snows you know the climate is changing be Texas almost never gets this type of weather.

  2. The current events that has been happening in Texas is really crazy. I know for a fact Texas never gets winter storms like how they have been getting. The Climate change is a very important factor in this. I feel like the lawmakers are making a mistake by taxing citizens more. I hope they find a better solution to this soon. Great post !

  3. Definitely an interesting top, but Texas lol. That is really crazy to hear about, people in Texas have dealt with so many hard ships lately that this will just have to be the cherry on top. It truly is sad to hear about all of this.
