Rise in Temperature

 With climate change happening it is said that the global temperature will rise between


3.6-10.8 degree Fahrenheit over time. This will cause many different tragic events such a species extinction, water shortage, loss in agriculture and forestry. Hotter climate means the water will evaporate quicker, causing less run-offs. It also means agriculture will be drastically effected because of increase in droughts in certain areas, it will be useful in colder climates because they will be able to maintain their agriculture better. Different altitudes will be effected differently with the warming of the earth, some will have positive outcomes while other will have negative outcomes. It is mentioned that forestry will prosper in the next century because of replacement or dieback in certain timber types. Although, it means more extinction of certain species of plants and animals.

    I think climate change is such a big issue that people need to care more about. The rise in temperature could become a very dangerous thing for areas that are already very hot during the summer. This will affect our economy if we are not careful because of the loss of agriculture or even people because of the water shortage. However, I do believe this could be looked at from two perspectives because I agree that a rise in temperature could be a positive result for colder climate! But for the areas that are already very hot in the summer I feel like that could create more forest fires or just a dangerous habitat to live in.

    It is very scary to know that temperature is changing that much. Something that seems over looked, that being the way things grow and prosper in temperature, is easy to notice that this is making dangerous leaps to extinction. I hope that the opposing sides can come to a compromise so that we can make better and more effective solutions.

    I believe people need to start noticing and having more concern about the temperature rising. It is an important issue that can put us and animals in danger. Even though there is a positive and a negative side to it, I just feel like it should be take more seriously. Great post !

    There is already a lot of extinction all over the world, which is caused by the rise of temperature, if we want to save the planet from drying out. We need to protect an. preserve the most forestry we can. I really liked that post because it makes realize how serious this situation is.

There is always the conspiracy that Florida will be fully submerged. It is stated on “the travel” page that Florida could be submerged as soon as 2050.   Wildlife conservation is the way of practicing the protection of the animal species and the  habitats they survive in. The Endangered Species Act,  is the establishment and protection of public lands animals live in, and the responsibility of public practices that conserve wild animal populations.  With The earth continuing to grow at a fast rate, it is also meaning that more and more humans are taking up natural resources. This is endangering the existence of animals and their habitats. Land Reclamation

 Hannah Bailey Land Reclamation  Land is becoming more scarce as humans produce more technology and as the world wide population continues to increase. Land reclamation is "the process of creating new land from the sea." One way of doing this is by placing certain amount of big rocks and cement into a certain location in the water. To fill in between the rocks they place soil and sand until the new manmade land is at its desired height. This benefits the human race by creating land however, how does this impact our waters? How about the sea creatures? Is this damaging the environment? This does impact all of those things. In areas that use have high amount of crab and fish are seeing less and less. The underwater habitats are being destroyed. There was a reclamation project in China that was restricted for the harm against marine life.
