Harmful chemicals in the water 

I read an article called “PFA’s forever chemicals”. The article explains that they found these man made chemicals that people call the forever chemicals. There chemicals help make the non stick pans that you could have in your kitchen. Later on in the article it explains that their is a law suit going on in 2017 due to these chemicals. It found out these chemicals can cause liver damage. When the forever chemical gets into the water we drink we are exposed to its toxic and and many already have been exposed to it, causing them to end up having deadly cancers. The worst part about this is kids are more vulnerable to die from the toxins. To add more to why the creation of these chemicals were harmful, the article later on goes and talks about how it is almost impossible to prevent exposure and get these chemicals out of our water. Their are scientist working on a way to help clean our waters of these chemicals. To this day their are still no real solution to this problem. In forcing why we have to be even more careful around the water we drink and try not to pollute it even more than we already have.

    Wow! its crazy to think how sick these people got just from water from this chemical it makes you wonder how many chemicals and additives we consume they may be dangerous to us and our health everyday. To think getting rid of these chemical in the water makes it more frustrating to find out in got there in the first place.

 Hannah Bailey  There have been posts about sea levels rising however its not just affecting the sea. The water rising is also affecting the land. There is always the conspiracy that Florida will be fully submerged. It is stated on “the travel” page that Florida could be submerged as soon as 2050. This means that section of land will become apart of the sea life ecosystem. All of the oil preserves, the towns, even maybe cars would be submerged and begin to add more pollution to the ocean. This would require the citizens on Florida to have to reside elsewhere. Around 20 square mile of land has been consumed by sea levels rising. That is equivalent to 9,680 football fields of land gone. For this weeks blog post I’ll be discussing what affects Land degradation has on the environment. Land deterioration is tne loss of the productive capacity of the soils for present and future. Land degradation is a global challenge that affects everyone through food insecurity, higher food prices, climate change, environmental hazards and loss of biodiversity services and it is all happening at a worried pace, and contributing to a dramatic decrease of productivity of croplands. Globally, about 25 percent of the total land area has been degraded. When land is degraded, soil carbon and nitrous oxide is released into the atmosphere, making land degradation one of the most important contributors to climate change. If this trend continues, 95 percent of the Earth’s land areas could become degraded by 2050. Land Reclamation

 Hannah Bailey Land Reclamation  Land is becoming more scarce as humans produce more technology and as the world wide population continues to increase. Land reclamation is "the process of creating new land from the sea." One way of doing this is by placing certain amount of big rocks and cement into a certain location in the water. To fill in between the rocks they place soil and sand until the new manmade land is at its desired height. This benefits the human race by creating land however, how does this impact our waters? How about the sea creatures? Is this damaging the environment? This does impact all of those things. In areas that use have high amount of crab and fish are seeing less and less. The underwater habitats are being destroyed. There was a reclamation project in China that was restricted for the harm against marine life.
