How to protect

As the saying goes “we should all do our part” can easily be related to everything we do. In this sense, it’s about the animal kingdom. When reading my source, I had an arrogant mindset and I thought I knew at least most of what it meant to protect wildlife and for once I was right. I did have a good understanding to get my foot in the door to help. We all have the capability to adopt pets, volunteer at animal programs, and visit zoos. However, not all of us are confident to speak out about or even know enough about animal trafficking. This subject, while I don’t have a lot of knowledge, I do know is a serious problem. Did you know that over a 2 year period, it is said that over 100,000 elephants where killed for illegal ivory trade. A kilogram of it will sell for 3,000 dollars on the black market. While I personally am understanding and do participate in controlling the population, there is no denying that this is senseless killing and it needs to stop. We need to pitch in before it is too late. I think we can all agree that we don’t want to have the elephants turn out like the dodo bird. Our job is to coexist not to dominate over the other.

    i agree that the statement we need to fix things before its to late is a huge blanket statement and i love how you decided to elaborate on how we can fix this specific issue it was nice seeing someone admit there arrogance about a situation openly it is crazy to think that in two years 100000 elephants had died due to this animal trafficking issue seeing the actual number like that was a shock espically when you consider how large one of these animals are i do like how you ended your blog in a strong statement and it was a good strong ending that left a impact

    This post is really good and I like how you talked about other people stepping in and doing there part. When you think about it animals are endangered because of us and it is really a issue in todays world. I like how you put the factual evidence in and it really helps give a better understanding on what is going on out there. I agree with what you said and I think you posted a really good blog about a good topic.

There is always the conspiracy that Florida will be fully submerged. It is stated on “the travel” page that Florida could be submerged as soon as 2050.   Wildlife conservation is the way of practicing the protection of the animal species and the  habitats they survive in. The Endangered Species Act,  is the establishment and protection of public lands animals live in, and the responsibility of public practices that conserve wild animal populations.  With The earth continuing to grow at a fast rate, it is also meaning that more and more humans are taking up natural resources. This is endangering the existence of animals and their habitats. Land Reclamation

 Hannah Bailey Land Reclamation  Land is becoming more scarce as humans produce more technology and as the world wide population continues to increase. Land reclamation is "the process of creating new land from the sea." One way of doing this is by placing certain amount of big rocks and cement into a certain location in the water. To fill in between the rocks they place soil and sand until the new manmade land is at its desired height. This benefits the human race by creating land however, how does this impact our waters? How about the sea creatures? Is this damaging the environment? This does impact all of those things. In areas that use have high amount of crab and fish are seeing less and less. The underwater habitats are being destroyed. There was a reclamation project in China that was restricted for the harm against marine life.
