Nature

I believe Nature is all around this earth and just surrounds us. The oceans, forests, air, and even the ground we walk on all are the part of nature. Nature plays a huge role because it is basically one huge resource that plays part on the continuation of life on this earth. I couldn't imagine life on earth with a destroyed and trashed natural environment. I believe if us individuals and more programs took the right appropriate steps to conserve nature, there would be less problems with conservation. This must be a priority for all humans. I feel like anyone and everyone can help with trying to save mother nature by playing some part of cleansing it every day.

    I think it is interesting to see more and more about how the land around us is being destroyed. It's also upsetting to think that in order for us to expand our lives out more that nature and wildlife are taking the tole. I know there is people out there that view nature differently but I think it goes without saying that everyone has a little part of them that likes being outside in the nature.

    I really enjoyed reading your blog! Nature is such a interesting thing because it can be different in different areas of the world. Especially because, like you mentioned, it is a huge resource that plays on the continuation of human life. I think a world where our enviornment is trashed and destroyed would be a very uncomfortable and scary experience. I agree that if we had more information, programs, and just independent researches orchestrated around maintains our enviornment; conservation wouldn’t be that big of an issue.

 Hannah Bailey  There have been posts about sea levels rising however its not just affecting the sea. The water rising is also affecting the land. There is always the conspiracy that Florida will be fully submerged. It is stated on “the travel” page that Florida could be submerged as soon as 2050. This means that section of land will become apart of the sea life ecosystem. All of the oil preserves, the towns, even maybe cars would be submerged and begin to add more pollution to the ocean. This would require the citizens on Florida to have to reside elsewhere. Around 20 square mile of land has been consumed by sea levels rising. That is equivalent to 9,680 football fields of land gone.   Wildlife conservation is the way of practicing the protection of the animal species and the  habitats they survive in. The Endangered Species Act,  is the establishment and protection of public lands animals live in, and the responsibility of public practices that conserve wild animal populations.  With The earth continuing to grow at a fast rate, it is also meaning that more and more humans are taking up natural resources. This is endangering the existence of animals and their habitats. Land Reclamation

 Hannah Bailey Land Reclamation  Land is becoming more scarce as humans produce more technology and as the world wide population continues to increase. Land reclamation is "the process of creating new land from the sea." One way of doing this is by placing certain amount of big rocks and cement into a certain location in the water. To fill in between the rocks they place soil and sand until the new manmade land is at its desired height. This benefits the human race by creating land however, how does this impact our waters? How about the sea creatures? Is this damaging the environment? This does impact all of those things. In areas that use have high amount of crab and fish are seeing less and less. The underwater habitats are being destroyed. There was a reclamation project in China that was restricted for the harm against marine life.
