Seafood Safety

The development of keeping the sea safe has been pushed more heavily since more and more waste has been thrown into the sea. Waste in our oceans is causing wildlife and more species to start dying faster. Animals of the sea are needed in today's economy because we use those products that the animals produce. Whether it is for eating or the oils in their skins the animals help with many different problems in the economy. With the use of all the products being produced it is hard for the fishermen and other companies  to make their product and get it if our oceans are polluted. The pollution in our oceans is just caused by a number of things but I think what causes it the most is that people just throw their trash and garbage anywhere. This trash slowly but surely finds its way into the ocean and causes sealife to die or have other issues when eating or absorbing the chemicals.

  1. It’s sad to see fishes homes surrounded by trash and potentially die from the trash we throw away. You did a good job of showing why fishes are important to us and the benefits we get from them. I love eating seafood, so knowing sea life might decrease because of the pollution makes me worried.

  2. With the large amounts of trash and other stuff in our oceans I imagine the effect it has on sea life is terrible. All the rivers and steams lead to the ocean so pretty much anywhere someone throws away trash it can reach the ocean.

  3. This is scary to say the least. Sea food lovers beware. It is sad to see that the entirety of sea life and human life is involved/ in danger of fatal outcomes. Hopefully we will start making smarter decisions so that we all can coexist.

  4. It was insane to see How many miles of coral reefs were destroyed by us humans whenever we watched the film with Leo in it To read this article and to see how much more pollution and damage we are causing is saddening because it feels like most people know there is an issue but still continue to throw trash in the ocean and pollute these ancient and beautiful ecosystems continue to get ravaged by us
