Brazilian Speaks Up

 Jessica Seaton-

A Brazilian leader spoke up about us killing the earth and people participating in deforestation in the Amazon. We are ruining forest by logging, the rivers are drying up, the forest is warmer, animals and plants are going extinct. The young man thought of ways to get our forest and our food back by planting 2 million trees in the forest. He plans to plant 10 million more trees to prove that we can create sustainable situation without harming the earth.

The leader talked about ways to solve the problem of our cutting down of trees. He is trying to make a difference and teach the younger generation how to save the earth instead of bringing more harm to it and to protect our future. He had a valid argument that our government needs to respect nature more instead of being the ones to kill it, I could not agree more.

  1. This blog gives me hope for the Amazon to start surviving because there’s a big amounts of deforestation going on. Im Glade that a leader in Brazil is finally standing up to the problems we are facing with our forests. Planting trees is a good step forward on stopping global warming.
