Conservation and habitat management
Habitat management - Levi Elfrink
As it turns out, it doesn’t matter if you hunt, or are an animal activist, or even a hard core conservationist. We all have to do our part and share to balance all things of nature. We can not all be hunters and not all of us can not be animal activists. We consider this balance habitat management. My cited source states that the word conservation is mixed up with preservation even though they are different. Conservation should be what my source considers “wise use” versus preservation is considered “non-use”. Most people that are arguing about this topic are missing the point with what habitat management is for. Habitat management is for nature’s true balance with man and that means we are supposed to coexist and cooperate with each other. If we are to coexist we must have hunters that maintain the population of any given species. If we are to coexist we must understand that non-sensible violence on a animal species is unacceptable. With all this being said, we must work together to understand each other or we might be capable of destroying every animal species on the planet. In my opinion, I would love to be able to show my kids all the animals that I got to study and witness when I potentially become a father. Like this guy in the picture.
Your blog perfectly described how I feel about taking care of our wild life. It’s honestly sad knowing that some animals species might not exist in a few years and it’s mostly humans fault. Habitat management is important because recently the blue macaw parrot from the movie “Rio” was officially extinct, which is horrifying when I go back to see the movie. You did a great job of saying that we can work tougher to solve this problem and how you pointed out your opinion on why habit management is a good way show your future kids some species you saw as a kid.
